Coverack Beach

Dogs allowed all year – on leads between June and August.

Coverack is one of the most beautiful villages I have visited. It is a small fishing village, with crystal blue water.

What we liked is that dogs are not banned from the beach in the summer, however there is a restriction asking you to keep your dogs on leads between 10-6pm from 1st June to 31st August. Before and after these times you can have your dog off lead.

I love that we can still enjoy this beach in the summer!

The beach is beautiful and there is sand even at high tide. At low tide there is a big sandy beach. There are also some rocks coming out, which makes for great rock pooling!

Watersports are very popular here and you can see why! Kayaking, Paddleboarding, wind surfing the lot!

If you want lessons or to hire equipment, you can speak to the lovely people at Coverack Windsurfing Centre. Coverack web site | Windsurfing School in Coverack, Helston, The Lizard, Cornwall

Once you are done on the beach you can go and get some chips or an ice cream and watch the sunset!

All I can say is, enjoy the beach and enjoy Coverack. It is truly wonderful.
