Coverack to St Keverne circular walk

This was the second walk we did starting from Coverack. As we were camping nearby we loved the fact we could start our walk from the village!

Starting in Coverack, where parking is limited so you need to make sure you get there early. There is a car park at the north of the village or there are a few random parking bays on the edges of the village. You can find the car park by using the address: Car Park, Coverack, Helston TR12 6TF. This is an honesty payment car park, so please ensure you have some change to contribute.

From the carpark head up with the bus stop on your left. Continue walking up that road, past the houses until you reach a path turning on the right. (you won’t be able to go any futher as there is an industrial area ahead!)

This walk follows the coastal path and there are so many hidden and quiet beaches you can get to!

Some of the paths are muddy and some of the hedges are overgrown, so be prepared and wear appropriate clothing!

We didn’t see any livestock on the first part of the walk but just be vigilant and put dogs on the lead if you see any.

Half way into the walk you will see a quarry in the distance. As you approach the quarry you can carry on walking along the coastal path and up or you can take the path inland and start the loop back. This is the path we took and started to head home. But you can make the walk your own!

Make sure you keep an eye out around here and careful with dogs, as we saw a lot of Seals enjoying the sun!

This part of the walk was through wooded paths and fields, so nice and shaded for the dogs.

We even came across a nice bench to have our lunch on!

This part of the walk passes by some houses and through farm land. Please keep an eye out for the yellow arrows and footpath signs, to ensure you are on the correct route.

Please keep your dogs on leads around the livestock.

The path then comes out at the top of the lane and you can walk back down into Coverack for a well-deserved drink or ice cream!
