Dogs allowed all year!
This beach is beautiful and rarely busy due to its rural location. It is just west of Dodman Point.
There is a National Trust Car park in Penare, which you can find with this address: Saint Austell PL26 6NY.
This is free for National Trust members or there is a donation box if you are not a member. Be aware the roads are very narrow to this car park, so take care on the roads!
From the car park at the bottom there is a exit path, cross the country lane and follow the path up and to the right.
Follow this path all the way to the end, through the gates and down to the beach. It is an easy and mostly shaded walk downhill.
Once on the beach you will have lots of space to explore and for the dogs to run around.
There are also lots of hidden coves to explore!
