Kynance Cove

Dog ban – 1 July to 31 August, 10am-6pm, but you can still walk your dogs on the footpaths around the beach

Kynance cove is very popular, and you can see why! I would suggest trying to avoid it during the summer months due to the amount of people, or ensure you go earlier or later in the day to ensure you get a spot! The National Trust say that the car park is usually full by 11am in the summer!

Kynance Cove is managed by the National Trust and they run the car park. It is a big car park so you should be able to get a parking space, if not there are overflow car parks nearby!

Parking is free for NT members but there are costs if you are not. These prices vary depending on the time of year. You can pay at the machine or pay by the app PayByPhone.

Once parked you can head down the path to the beach. You can either walk down to the beach directly or walk up and around, following the coastal path.

Due to it being busy, we followed the costal path up and took in the incredible views! It really is an incredible place.

You can then take the path down and join the beach and enjoy the crystal clear waters!

There is also a café on site, which is conveniently located near to the beach!

Enjoy this beautiful cove but ensure you go early to avoid disappointment in the summer!
