This is a lovely part of the South West Coast Path. The walk we did was about 5 miles but it depends how far you want to go along the coast path.
We parked at the Lansallos car park. This is a National Trust car park, which is free to members. If you are not a member then you can pay at the machine or use the app PayByPhone. Prices are below:
- £2.00 up to 1hr
- £4.00 up to 4hrs
- £8.00 all day
Leave the car park and go left down the road. You will pass a campsite on your righthand side and you’ll see a path in front of you, which passes next to the church.
This path is surrounded by trees and runs alongside a stream. If you follow the path all the way down, you get to Lansallo’s beach.

This beach is never too busy and great place to base yourself for the day if you wanted to!

We let the dog run around here for a while and then we carried on following the path.
If you are looking at the beach you need to head up the path to the right. From there you will follow the coastal path as far as you like. We walked all the way to Lantic Bay and then back.

Along the way there are some coves you can explore but be careful the climb down and back up is steep!

There are no shops near this walk so make sure you have plenty of water! There are also no poo bins, so make sure you take your poo bags home with you!
