
Saltram is a beautiful National Trust house and gardens on the edge of Plymouth.
There is a huge car park at Saltram, which is free for National Trust members. There is a fee for non members and you pay at the parking kiosk.
There are quite a few routes you can follow around the gardens. (see the link below for the routes)
Saltram can get busy at some points, as people can also cycle on the same paths, so just ensure you keep an eye out for cyclists!

Half way around the route you come across a large part of the River Plym (honestly the river that keeps on giving!) here the dogs can have a play and cool down before continuing on with your walk.

Most of the walk will take you through woodland but there are some open spaces as well, good for a run around !

Once you have finished your walk, you can have a well-deserved drink or bite to eat in the café!
A big plus is that they have dog poo bags throughout the walks! Very helpful!
