Dogs allowed all year
This small cove is part of the wider Whitsands bay.
There is a small car park at the top of the cliff just off the road. It is free and you will find it by using this address: Sharrow point, Torpoint, PL10 1JW.
Across the road and down the steep path you can access the beach. There is a wide sandy beach at low tide but there is still some beach at high tide.
This beach has lots of rocks and caves to explore and sometimes at low tide you can see the remains of a shipwreck!
Dogs are allowed all year and with free parking too, what more could you want!
You can follow the country lane along to the bigger Whitsands bay and even stop and have a coffee or some food at the Cliff Top Cafe!
