We booked this place for a weekend away. We wanted to explore more of Exmoor and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!
This pub is owned by St Austell Brewery, who have lots of different places to stay all across Devon and Cornwall. Everyone we met there were extremely friendly and couldn’t do more for you!
This is the most dog friendly place we have ever stayed! When we arrived and went to our room. Our room was beautiful and we were greeted with a dog bag, full of goodies. In the bag were two dog bowls, a bag of treats, a can of dog beer, a tennis ball and some poo bags! We were so impressed! So were the dogs!
Dogs are of course allowed anywhere in the pub and restaurant area. This is a beautiful old pub and we enjoyed our drinks and meals in the evening. I don’t think there was a table there without at least one dog!
In the morning we went down for breakfast and again were impressed at how dog friendly it was, given the fact that the dogs had their own options on the menu! They were then served their breakfast in their own bowls!
The pub is very close to the coastal path, meaning you can explore the beautiful coast straight from the pub!
