There is no specific car park for the castle but there are a few in the village which is only a 600m walk away. The one we used is: The castle car park, 5 Atlantic Rd, Tintagel PL34 0DD. It is a pay and display car park. Using the machine or the parking apps.
This place is fantastic and a must visit if you are in the area. We were not planning to go in as we were unsure if they accepted dogs but when we arrived we found out they did. At the time there was still some capacity restrictions (which was a bonus!) and we could just book a time slot online and go in!
Dogs on the lead at all times of course but they are welcome everywhere.
You can then go down to the cove at the bottom of the castle, which is beautiful and is accessible at low tide!
The castle also has its own shop and café, which serve everything you need for refreshments and lunch!
