
This is run by the National Trust. Parking is at the top on the road. However, it is pay and display for everyone and frustratingly only accepts coins! There are other car parks you can use, please see their website.

After a steep walk down, you get down into the gorge and woodland. It is stunning. We followed the path along the river and then crossed back over a bridge and looped back round. However there are many walks to do, a lot of them are listed on the website I have linked above.

Once you have completed your walk, there is a tea room that you can buy drinks, cakes or lunch! Perfect for that post walk refuel!
This place is a must visit, it is beautiful and plenty of opportunities for the dogs to have a swim in the river!
