Black Rock Beach – Dogs allowed all year
Widemouth & Black Rock beach is a huge beach on the North coast, divided into two.
There is a huge car park, so plenty of parking. The costs of parking are:
- Up to 1 hour – £1.10
- 1 to 2 hours – £2.70
- 2 to 3 hours – £4.00
- 3 to 4 hours – £5.30
- 24 hours – £8.40
You can pay by cash or via the app PayByPhone. You can find it using this address: Widemouth Bay, Bude, EX23 0AW.
Once parked you can literally walk off the car park and onto the beach.

There is plenty of beach for the dogs to run around on and rock pools to explore!

The beach is actually split into two. Widemouth bay and Black Rock Beach. Widemouth has a dog ban 15th May – 30th September. However, Black Rock beach is dog friendly all year.

Once you have finished exploring the beach, there is a great dog friendly café to enjoy!
